Star Wars KOTOR II Features
Unlike previous games, Star Wars KOTOR II features a new engine that improves on the smooth gameplay that has become a hallmark of the Star Wars series. This means that not only will the players have more opportunities to fight against their enemies, but they will also have much more detail and depth to the missions and their characters.
By adding the new content, the graphics and effects have been massively improved. Characters, vehicles and planets are far more detailed and realistic than they were in previous installments. This ensures that the player will never be bored with the action and the experience is one of real drama and tension between the different characters.
The KOTOR I
The most important addition is obviously the KOTOR I mod, an add-on that allows players to choose aspects of the game in a way not possible in previous games. For example, they can now choose to play as an officer or a stormtrooper. The mod also gives the players a choice of choosing a Jedi Master and a Grand Master.
This allows the player to customize their character to the extent that they want. The most popular characters in the game, like Luke, Darth Vader, Yoda and Amidala are all available as a character for players to customize.
Combinations
As a result of this feature, players are now able to create some interesting combinations. If you like the idea of being a stormtrooper and you prefer the idea of playing as a dark knight, then the players can do that. The same is true if you want to be an imperial officer and prefer the perspective of Yoda. The possibilities are virtually endless, allowing players to develop their own custom-made game.
Complete Unit
There are still plenty of other features that players will find exciting. One of these is the effects introduced by Jabba the Hutt, a highly entertaining character played by the late Michael Caine.
His unique fatality effect gives the impression of having killed several members of your group. The Emperor is also capable of shooting several lightsabers at your group from a far distance. All of these effects are incredibly powerful, allowing players to really feel like they are part of a complete unit.
Unlock Crates
In addition to all of this, there are still plenty of features that have not been touched on yet. For example, you can unlock crates when you level up in the game. Inside these crates, you can find cool gear, such as blaster rifles, ion sabers, stormtrooper helmets, and more.
These items can then be used on a variety of missions, providing further incentive to continue playing the game. Not only that, but players who like to play with many characters will find that this feature adds a lot of depth to the game, allowing them to have a diverse collection of weapons and armor.
Previous Levels
What makes the content in SWTOR II so engrossing is the way it is woven together. World objects are placed within the game world so that players can travel back to previous levels.
At the same time, players will be required to go on raids and other tasks, which will add to their collection. These interactions will add up to your character, making each level more challenging and ultimately more rewarding.
Conclusion
There are a few minor complaints that have been brought up. For example, the story is a little thin at times, especially towards the end. While it may seem like a minor gripe, it is one that can hold players back from enjoying the game as much as possible.
Additionally, the voice-over work may be a little cheesy at times, especially when the player is required to yell at people. On the whole, players really cannot complain about this game. It offers excellent action and plenty of memorable characters.
